Why consistency across documents matters so much

The same facts appear in several places: the application form, the questionnaire, the guarantee letter, the family register, the residence certificate and the tax certificate. An examiner reads them together.

The recurring failures are mundane. An address written from memory on the form that does not match the 住民票 (certificate of residence). An income rounded up on the form but printed exactly on the 課税証明書 (taxable income certificate). A date of marriage on the questionnaire that is the ceremony date while the family register shows the registration date. A name abbreviated on one document and given in full on the passport.

None of these is dishonest, and none of them is fatal on its own. Cumulatively they make an account look assembled rather than lived, and they generate a request for additional documents that adds months. This is the single strongest argument for gathering the facts once, from the source documents, and letting one system write them everywhere -- which is what this application does.
